Entrance Requirements for Colorado Public Four-Year Colleges & Universities
-
Four-year colleges and universities in Colorado know that academic preparation, especially in English and mathematics, are indicators that directly correlate to success in college. A student who has challenged him or herself academically is desirable, and students who have demonstrated passion, leadership, service and character are also appealing during the admissions process. Although many colleges and universities have gone test optional, average scores on standardized admission exams (ACT or SAT) vary by institution. Always consult the individual college/university’s admission office or your school’s assigned admission officer for the most current admission requirements. This table should be used only as a guide.
