PHYSICAL EDUCATION / HEALTH
Students will experience numerous opportunities to work cooperatively in small and large groups. In addition, students are introduced to a number of activities that promote lifelong conditioning and fitness, i.e. muscular and cardiovascular endurance.
The main objective of Health is to develop a comfortable, safe atmosphere for discussions of health issues. Health encompasses a students’ physical, mental, and social well-being. This course will emphasize how to develop life-long skills at handling everyday stressors. In addition, students will begin to learn and implement the power of decision-making skills regarding their health and wellness.
