    • English is a 4-year requirement for all students in Colorado. Students at Grandview will read a variety of traditional and contemporary literature and non-fiction, write process and timed essays in a variety of rhetorical modes, and study English grammar and college-preparatory vocabulary. Students also have the opportunity to enroll in English electives such as Newspaper, Yearbook, Public Speaking, and competitive Speech and Debate.
    • Grandview's goal is to instill a life-long appreciation for reading and writing while preparing students for the rigors of college.
