• World Language Pathway of Purpose:

    As part of their world language coursework, students will focus on the following Enduring Understandings:

    • Communicating effectively (orally and in writing) in more than one language in order to function in a variety of situations and for multiple purposes.

    • Interacting with cultural competence and understanding. 

    • Connecting with other disciplines and acquiring information and diverse perspectives in order to use the language to function in academic and career-related situations.

    • Developing insight into the nature of language and culture in order to interact with cultural competence.
