Concert Band - Open to any student who has previous band experience.
Wind Ensemble - Students are selected by audition and are the most advanced band students at CTHS
Jazz Ensemble I - Intro-level jazz band open to all students with prior band experience.
Jazz Ensemble II - Advanced jazz band is open to any student by audition.
Jazz Ensemble III - The most advanced jazz band is open to any student by audition.
Percussion - Open to all aspiring percussionists. Students will perform on a variety of percussion instruments.

Black Student Alliance is a club designed for civic-minded students of all races who wish to actively engage in community events. Broadcast Journalism

CT Gaming Club
Gamers!
This club used to be just for video games but we're expanding it to include all kinds of games: video and computer games (rated T or lower), board games, strategy games, role-playing games, card games, Magic/Pokemon type games, puzzles—whatever YOU want to play. We have lots of room in the library to spread out and play games of all kinds.
We provide strategy games, board games, chess sets, an Xbox 360 and a GameCube but feel free to bring your games and consoles too. We setup multiple projectors with screens around the library for you to use with the consoles.
Be sure to join CT Gaming Club's Remind texting service for club updates: Text the message @gam202 to the number 81010 to join.

Esports
E-Sports is an activity that offers students the opportunity to compete playing pc games against other teams in the state and region. We use Discord as our primary method of communication. Teams compete in League of Legends and Rocket League for the fall season and state championship. The Spring season will be determined later. Tryouts will take place prior to the start of each season. Please see sponsors for more information. Cost varies but is generally between $50-85 season.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the largest career-student organization in the world. It gives members opportunities to network, compete, grow, and lead through competition, workshops, and community-minded service. Members develop real-world skills while gaining unique exposure to everything from Sports & Entertainment Marketing to Graphic Design. Cherokee Trail's chapter is recognized at both the state and national levels, has had national champions and multiple State Officers, and engages regularly with the local and CT communities. Literary Magazine
This club is open to anyone who has an interest in working as a team to publish the CT Literary Magazine and expressing their individual creativity. Students are encouraged as part of their participation to take courses in graphic design and/or print journalism. Club members read, edit, and approve submissions, as well as generate their own content (poetry, short fiction, art) for the magazine. As members of this club, you will develop both graphic design and publication skills while working with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

M.U.N. (Model United Nations)
M.U.N. offers a unique opportunity to better understand the inner workings of the United Nations while building skills in diplomacy and compromise. Students will propose resolutions addressing issues such as regional conflicts, peacekeeping, human rights, women and children, economic and social development, and the environment. Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society)
To apply for Mu Alpha Theta, students must maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 weighted, a mathematical GPA of at least 3.5 weighted, have completed at least Algebra 1 and Geometry, and be enrolled in algebra 2 or higher. Students must also continue their mathematical education by taking at least one math course beyond Algebra2 each year. The application/selection process takes place in the fall.

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and challenges you to write a novel in a month! National Art Honor Society
NAHS is a national organization dedicated to excellence and fellowship in Visual Arts. The CT chapter will set its focus on giving back to the community using the visual arts. The club will participate in various fundraising activities that may benefit a charity and/or raise funds for the art department at CT. Other activities will include visitation to retirement homes and/or Children's Hospital to create goodwill throughout our community at large. NAHS will also serve the art department through beautification of the school and ushering/assisting at various art events throughout the school year.

Interact is a service and social club focused on developing local and international service projects. The Aurora Gateway Rotary club works with the CTHS Interact Club to expand student understanding of the world and promote international goodwill. Members of the club carry out local service projects that benefit the community or school, such as fundraisers for a variety of causes, blood drives, and visits to nursing homes, orphanages, and homeless shelters.
