• Computer Foundations

    In the Technology Foundations course, students will develop a variety of technology skills that will assist them with their schoolwork and their future careers. Students will learn about 3D printing design, digital animation, digital citizenship, digital storytelling, keyboarding, and media literacy, Blockly coding, online/web 2.0 tools, Google Suite for Education tools, educational applications for lifelong learning, sketchnoting, and computational thinking. Students will develop skills that will provide them strong foundations in technology that will that they will apply to their daily lives. Emphasis will be placed upon developing critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Tech Advanced Computer

    Students in Tech Advanced Computer will enhance their knowledge of 3D printing design, video editing, computing, digital animation, Google Suite for Education, augmented and virtual reality, digital storytelling, digital citizenship, computational thinking, design thinking, sketchnoting, and media literacy. Students will develop skills that provide them with strong foundations in technology that they can apply to their daily lives. Students will develop skills that will benefit them in the STEM fields and a variety of fields that incorporate technology.

  • Tech Digital/Multimedia Production

    Through a Genius Hour model, students will engage in activities that promote innovation and inventiveness to create real-world projects that address real-world problems. Students will develop expertise in video game design, programming, digital citizenship, digital animation, virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing design, Google Suite for Education tools, video editing, design thinking, information literacy, media literacy, data science, search engine optimization, and digital marketing. Students will have the opportunity to experience voice and choice in projects that they are passionate about through the integration of the Genius Hour Model in the class. Students will develop skills that will help them to think critically, solve problems, and work collaboratively. These critical skills will help them throughout the academic and professional careers by supporting college and career readiness.
