• PowerSchool For Parents

You can follow your child’s progress in each class by regularly checking grades in PowerSchool. To access PowerSchool, login to my.cherrycreekschools.org and click on the PowerSchool tile. You should see a tab for each child you have in Cherry Creek at the top. For a video tutorial, scan the QR Code. It will take you to a YouTube video created specifically for Cherry Creek parents.

Receive regular email updates with grades!

Did you know that you can have your child’s grades emailed to you directly from PowerSchool? Click on “Email Notification” from the Navigation bar down the left side of the PowerSchool page. Set your preferences, including the email addresses you would like the grades to go to.

    There’s an app for that!

For easy access, install the PowerSchoool app for parents. It will ask for a district code. Use KMKL for Cherry Creek and you will be directed to sign in through my.cherrycreekschools.org. Once you are in, you can view your child’s schedule and grades right from your phone.

How to Keep Your Computer Working

EVERY NIGHT: Sign out of the computer, keep it powered on, and plug it in! This is the most important thing you can do.

    • The Cherry Creek District has a system to push updates to computers at night, but only if computers are signed out, powered on, and plugged in.

    EVERY DAY:

    • Make sure you are connected to the CCSD network (not guest) - the password is “excellence”

    • Make sure you are signed in to Chrome and your account is synced

    • Best practice is to restart the computer when you first get to school

    WEEKLY:

    • Check for updates in the Chrome browser

    • Restart the computer (shut it down completely)

    • Check to make sure the date and time are accurate

    • Look for Windows Updates that may have not finished installing

Finally, please remember not to place any stickers on the school computers. If we need to take it for repair, it will go to someone else and they may not want your stickers!
