Tasha Houck-Jefferies

Counselor | Last Names Gs–Lh

Even though Tasha Houck loves to travel, she can’t imagine calling anywhere else her home. Born and raised in Park Hill, Tasha takes full advantage of all Colorado has to offer. After graduating from high school she attended a small private college in Texas. After a humid year, she decided to complete her teaching degree at the wonderful University of Northern Colorado (GO BEARS!!). After receiving her teaching degree, Tasha spent five years in the classroom, teaching middle school at Dunstan Middle and transitioning to high school, at Boulder High. A colleague approached Tasha about becoming a school counselor; she remembered her passion from being an ambassador and returned to school to receive her masters in school counseling. Tasha has been a counselor at Overland High School since 2009 and would call Overland “home”. Tasha has two beautiful divas, as a family, they love dance parties, cooking and finding new places to explore.
