Challenge School Immersion Instructions

Immersion UPDATES:

The Immersion Program at Challenge offers a wide variety of classes for students. These classes are intended to provide students with an opportunity to participate in an in-depth study that will enrich and extend their educational experience. The Immersion Program classes tend to be more experiential in nature and provide learning opportunities both here at school and on various field trips.  During this week of study, all other classes will be temporarily suspended.  Fees for the classes cover the cost of consumable materials, field trips and transportation fees. Learning opportunities are much more structured in our primary classes, and choices become progressively varied as students advance through middle school.  An Independent Study option is available for individual students and their families. 

Kindergarten Families:

Your students will be with their teacher for the ENTIRE Immersion week. You do NOT need to fill out any immersion paperwork. Your teacher will communicate with you directly about activities and events that they will be working on that week. 

Independent Study

If your child is doing an Independent Study, please read the Independent Study Information/Instructions and enter Independent Study for all FOUR choices on the Immersion Request Form. 

Please note the following dates and deadlines:

• March 14, 2025: Immersion requests must be submitted via this website by 4:00 p.m.
• May 5, 2025: Students find out their immersion @ 8am. Immersion Teachers will host an information meeting with students at 2:30 p.m. Parents can start paying Immersion Fees Via RevTrak @ 3pm. Be on the lookout for an email regarding payment and paperwork.
• May 13, 2025, : Immersion payments are due in RevTrak and paperwork due to their immersion teacher by 3pm.
• May 13, 2025 - May 16, 2025: Fall 2024 Immersion - Have a wonderful week!
• May 20, 2025 - Independent Study Projects due
