Mr. Scott Schleich
Scott Schleich has over 25 years of experience in elementary education. He started his career teaching third grade in Beloit, Wisconsin and then moved to Colorado in 2000. He taught third grade at Antelope Ridge in the Cherry Creek School District before becoming the assistant principal at Holly Hills/Holly Ridge Elementary in 2002. In 2004, Scott became the principal of Homestead Elementary on the far southwest side of the district. After seven years at Homestead, he moved to Aspen Crossing Elementary and served as principal there for six years. Scott is married to his wife Deb, and they have two boys, Garrett and Gavin, who both attended Fox Ridge Middle School and Cherokee Trail High School. Now one is a junior at CU-Boulder and the other has just graduated from Colorado State University. And let’s not forget Marty, their golden retriever!
Mr. Schleich’s dream was to open a new school. Now that Altitude is beginning its 7th year, he is very excited and proud of the amazing environment Moose Nation has created. Students love to come to school every day, eager to see what new and amazing learning experiences await them! Scott believes when you have great teachers, great students, and great parents…great things will happen for our children!
Altitude is where all students are allowed to DREAM IT, BELIEVE IT, AND DO IT!
