Welcome to Greenwood Elementary School.  I am honored to be the principal of such an amazing school with outstanding staff, students, and parents. 

You will find our staff is dedicated, hardworking, and child-focused.  We care about every student and are committed to our District's Mission:  “To inspire every child to think, to learn, to achieve, to care.”  By providing students with as many learning opportunities and experiences as possible, the staff at Greenwood instill in students the love of learning. 

Our students are ready and eager to learn each and every day.  They are diligent in their studies and thrive in an environment of safety, respect, and high expectations.  Students are kind and respectful to each other and go out of their way to demonstrate our school-wide expectations of BEARS: Be responsible, Engage in learning, Act safely, Respect yourself and others, Show a positive attitude. 

An important component in the legacy of success at Greenwood is the community.  I believe in a partnership and shared dedication and responsibility by students, family, school, and community.  Together we overcome challenges and celebrate accomplishments.
