Dear Meadow Point Community,

It is an honor and privilege to serve as your principal. I am excited and look forward to building relationships with you and your children to support the establishment of a strong foundation for learning and belonging. I believe in the impact our partnership has in enhancing the lives of our students and shaping their understanding of their talents and strengths. As a school, we will work together to provide the best equitable educational experience for all students.

As a community, we will have open dialogue to create an inclusive and safe learning environment where all students feel safe, seen, heard, and valued. We will continue the successful work that is currently in place and use it to continuously improve systems and structures that will positively impact our students both instructionally and emotionally. I will lead and serve our community to move towards equal access and opportunity for all students allowing them to remain whole, have a sense of belonging and see their full potential. I am committed to working on increasing student achievement by dismantling barriers while cultivating an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where all students' unique qualities are included in high quality instruction.

I value family and believe that we are a family at Meadow Point. My family also includes my son, my stepdaughter, my husband, our dog and our cat. We enjoy hiking, running, reading and playing board games.

One of my goals is to be visible and accessible to engage in conversation with each of you in support of our students while they continue to thrive inside and outside of Meadow Point. I look forward to sharing ideas on how we can ensure that together we make the future years of our students at Meadow Point successful. Go Grizzlies!

In Partnership,

Gabriela Zuno, Principal
