    Visual Arts at Heritage

In Art class, the students’ individuality and originality are celebrated. Students make unique choices, including subject matter of their work, which art elements and principles to include and what materials to use. Students visually communicate through their work, giving their work purpose and meaning. Students learn about artists from the past and present. They also learn a variety of art styles including Realism, Expressive, Surreal and Abstract. Students will use many types of media including drawing, painting, clay and sculpture. Students are offered a positive, motivating and challenging environment to explore and grow through Art.
