ELA

The English Language Acquisition (ELA) Program is designed to teach students, who speak languages other than English how to understand, speak, read, and write in English. While students are learning the language, they are also learning math, science, social studies and other subjects in the school curriculum. Our ELA Teachers are proficient in the English language and are specifically trained to teach students who are learning English. The ELA Teachers plan and co-teach with the classroom teachers to ensure maximum support of all students in the classroom.
