Guaranteed Transfer (GT) Pathways
Each post secondary institution determines how college credits transfer. Below are some resources that can help students and families to explore how the credits earned through CE and DE classes may apply to their postsecondary path. Always consult with an advisor at your chosen college for the most accurate information.
Transfer and Apply Credit
Public Colorado colleges and universities
The Colorado Department of Higher Education has established a Guaranteed Transfer (GT) Pathways program with 10 course categories. Courses that align with a GT Pathway and are completed with a C- or higher will transfer and apply toward Associate of Arts/Associate of Science degrees and most bachelor’s degrees at all public Colorado colleges and universities.
GT Pathways does not apply to some majors, including many engineering, computer science, and nursing programs. Students should consult an advisor at their intended college or university to confirm that selected courses meet their specific degree requirements.

Nationwide colleges and universities
Transferology is a nationwide network that helps students explore college transfer options. The tool allows students to enter completed coursework, exams, and/or military learning experiences to quickly see which colleges in the Transferology network may award transfer credit and answer the question, “Will my courses transfer?”
Course equivalencies shown in Transferology are generally accurate; however, how credit applies can vary by major or program. Because institutions may update transfer information at any time, students should contact the college or university directly to confirm how their courses will transfer.
