Transitioning to high school can be both a time of uncertainty and excitement. You will have new classmates, new teachers and a set new expectations, as well as a breadth of opportunities. An adjustment period is normal. We have a few tips to help you as you adjust to high school.
Seniors at graduation wearing cap and gown
Students graduating from any Cherry Creek District high school must demonstrate career/college preparedness in both Reading/Writing/Communicating and Mathematics. Your school counselor can assist you in planning and tracking your progress toward graduation.

Cherry Creek Schools District is dedicated to preparing every student for success beyond high school. Students can explore multiple interests and aptitudes throughout elementary, middle, and high school.  Engaging in meaningful career exploration and post-secondary planning allows students to find their pathway of purpose upon high school graduation.

It is never too early for students to start planning their next steps. It is essential to take time to talk as a family and use the tools included in this website as a foundation for conversations.
