Graduation Requirements
The Cherry Creek School District continues its strong tradition of a rigorous academic program to prepare you for college and career success. Your middle school experience exposed you to goal setting and career exploration as it prepared you for the academic demands at high school.
You can track progress toward graduation in Power School or by scheduling a meeting with your school counselor. At the end of the school year, a freshman student, typically has successfully completed a minimum of 6 to 7 credits, a sophomore, 11 credits and a junior 17 credits.
To earn a high school diploma from any Cherry Creek District high school, all students must earn a minimum of 22 credits in specific content areas as well, meet competency in Reading/Writing/Communicating and mathematics, which demonstrates career/college preparedness.
Graduation Requirements
Every student must demonstrate career/college preparedness in both Reading/Writing/Communication and mathematics to earn a high school diploma. The Cherry Creek School District offers a menu of options for students to demonstrate their learning and preparation. Students are encouraged to discuss and regularly monitor these options with their family, school counselor and teachers.

Demonstrating College and Career Readiness
In addition to the required 22 credits of coursework, all students must demonstrate competency in Reading/Writing/Communication and Mathematics through one area on the menu of options below.
