Instrument Repair Shop

Cherry Creek Schools operates an in-house instrument repair shop at Overland High School — the only school district in Colorado and one of just four in the nation to offer this resource to students. It’s staffed by technicians Jeff Eisold and Alan Davis, who provide a cost-effective way to keep band and orchestra instruments in good condition for the district’s 25,000 music students.

The shop was established after purchasing tools and equipment from a closing music store. By keeping instruments in good working order and repair costs low, the shop helps students stay engaged in music and focused on learning.

School music teachers throughout the school district submit instruments for repair, allowing students to spend more time playing and less time waiting on equipment.
