The Inside Out Enrichment Program fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication skills.
Sponsored by the Office of Neurodiverse Student Services.
Inside Out is dedicated to providing open-ended student-centered opportunities for children that focus on:
*self-reflecting on how tasks impact learning/perception of self as a learner
*engaging in activities aligned with individual strengths, preferences, and/or interests
*fostering connections between activities and potential career fields, leadership opportunities, or real-world applications
*exploring advanced content in that field
*acquiring the skills, methodologies, and dispositions of the practicing professionals in that field
*investigating real-world problems and developing authentic products and services in that field
*Depth of Knowledge
*Depth & Complexity
Inside/Out offers a learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and effective communication skills: Critical thinking and Problem Solving teaches students to question claims and seek truth. Creativity and Innovation teaches students to think in a way that is unique to them and expands on ideas. Collaboration teaches students that groups can create something bigger and better than you can on your own. Communication teaches students how to effectively convey ideas. Combined, the four Cs empower students to become one-person think tanks. Then, when those students get together, they can achieve almost anything!

Transportation
Transportation is being offered. Pick-up and drop-off locations will be at the child’s home-feeder middle school. For example: If your child attends Challenge Magnet School, but their home school is Indian Ridge Elementary, their home-feeder middle school would be Laredo Middle School. Parents still have the option to provide their own transportation to and from where Inside Out will be taking place. Please note that 1st through 8th graders will be riding on the same bus.
If you need help determining your home-feeder middle school, please use this district map for assistance.
Please contact Jennifer Preskorn at jpreskorn2@cherrycreekschools.org if you have any questions. Thank you.
