Foreign Exchange Program

The application process opens in January and closes on May 15th for the following school year

Cherry Creek Schools welcomes a limited number of international exchange students each year through organizations approved by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET). These students enrich our schools by sharing cultural and linguistic perspectives while participating in the district’s regular educational programs.

Exchange students are admitted on a tuition-free basis under Board Policy JFABB and must apply through a CSIET-certified exchange organization.

Who Can Apply

Cherry Creek Schools accepts exchange students only through CSIET-approved organizations.

  • Students and families work with an exchange organization in their home country. CCSD has no impact upon any fees related to working with an exchange organization
  • The organization places the student with a qualified host family living in the Cherry Creek School District
  • Host families cannot apply independently

A list of approved organizations can be found on the CSIET website.
