Extracurricular and Athletics Only Participation
The 2025-2026 school year process is available. Requests for the 2026-27 school year will be accepted after July 1, 2026.
Parents need to complete the Extracurricular and Athletics Only Participation form for their child to participate in an extracurricular activity or sport. The electronic form is required for all current and former students of the district, as well as any students attending a non-public or charter school.
Please allow up to 10 business days for the District Athletics & Activities Office to clear your child for participation. Additional qualification requirements will be verified by District Admissions.
Step 1:
- Complete the Extracurricular and Athletics Only Participation form.
- Attach the required documents for submitting the form to be reviewed by Admissions.
- Student's Birth Certificate
- Government issued Photo ID for the parent/guardian
- Current proof of residence (for students living in the Cherry Creek district boundary)
Note: If you are unable to scan your documents, there are free apps online that will enable your smartphone to serve as a scanner. Or you may simply take a picture of the documents with your phone.
Step 2:
The Admissions and Student Records department will review the student information and required documents prior to approving the application for a final review by the Athletics and Activities department.
Step 3:
The Athletics and Activities department will complete a final review and provide a response for approval or denial, as well as additional steps to complete with the school if the student is approved.
