Annual Vets and Military Appreciation event pays tribute to community's heroes
After more than three decades of service in the Colorado Army National Guard, Brig. Gen. Bren Dee Rogers has no regrets.
That much was clear as Rogers addressed the crowd gathered at Cherokee Trail High School on Oct. 1, an audience that included service members, veterans, and Cherry Creek School District officials, students, and parents. Rogers spoke of her own personal history as a soldier, a leader, and a patriot, proudly attesting to the value of her experiences.
