Greetings Coyote Families,
First, let me say that we are so lucky to have such a wonderful family here at Coyote. From staff to parents everyone has been supportive. I am so glad we made it 11 weeks into the school year face to face. I know the staff and I wish it could be another 11 weeks.
Wednesday, November 11, is our last in-person day. This week we are working tirelessly to create the most dynamic virtual learning environment. Cherry Creek has provided an excellent outline and guide to follow. Our teachers have been learning and practicing their online plan all year. We are ready to mobilize. While there are no perfect solutions, and virtual will never replace face to face learning, I am confident we will provide a solid learning experience. Below are some key points of information.
-
K-2 will be synchronous learning 8:00 am-11:00 am
-
3-5 will be synchronous learning 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm
-
One additional hour of “Instructional support time” will be provided opposite to the synchronous learning time.
-
Seesaw will be the main learning platform along with Google Docs
-
If there are any supplies your student will need to pick up your teacher will schedule a time for pick up on Friday between 11:00 am -2:00 pm.
Please look for an email from your teacher(s) on Wednesday with the specific daily schedule breakdown for your child(ren). Special service providers will also send information on your student’s time.
Thursday night I will host a Community Forum at 6:00pm to answer any questions you might have. This forum will answer questions specific to Coyote Hills remote learning. I will not be answering questions in regard to district policy or plans. Click here to join the meeting
Thanks for being there with us. Please reach out with questions.
