    Hello Challenge Families!

My name is Anji Hunt, and I am one of our School Psychologists for the 2023-2024 school year. This is my second year at Challenge, and I feel very blessed to be a part of this wonderfully inclusive and energetic community. This school year, I am shifting my schedule to part-time, and I will be primarily supporting students in our middle school.

A little more about me: I have been a School Psychologist for ten years, and I have experience working with kids ranging from elementary to high school, all at schools in Cherry Creek School District. I love my job, because it allows me to work with so many different members of the school community, and I truly enjoy building relationships with others. I wear several "hats" in my role, whether it be leading social/emotional groups, analyzing data to create individualized interventions, collaborating on various multi-disciplinary committees with other staff, or consulting with families to problem solve how to best support student needs. I strive to help all students feel recognized, supported, and connected in the school community.

In my life outside of school, I enjoy being active and spending time with friends and family, including my husband and two young children.

    Hello Challenge Families!

My name is Terra Price, and I am delighted to join the Challenge team for the 2023-2024 school year!

This is my twenty-first year in education, beginning as a classroom teacher and transitioning to school psychology 15 years ago. For the last seven years I have specialized in supporting the academic and affective needs of gifted, highly gifted, and twice-exceptional learners and their families.  As a parent of three gifted learners, I have become passionate about supporting and advocating for the needs of this unique population and their families. I have many roles within the school community, whether it be leading social/emotional groups for elementary students, collaborating on various multi-disciplinary committees with other staff, or consulting with families and teachers to problem solve how to best support student needs.

In addition to my work in schools, I have provided support in the community through my role instructing graduate level courses for the gifted endorsement program at Southern Utah University and leading parent education groups through my private coaching practice.

During time outside of school I enjoy all things outdoors!  Some of my favorites include backpacking, skiing, and camping. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and hiking with my goldendoodle, Finnegan!  I am grateful for the warm welcome and look forward to getting to know your families!  Please feel free to contact me anytime!

    Hi Challenge Community,

My name is Katie Olson, and I am a School Psychologist Intern for the 2023-2024 school year! I am working directly with Anji Hunt this school year to support middle school students. I am at Challenge on Monday mornings, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. When I am not at Challenge, I am supporting students at Mission Viejo Elementary.

Currently, I am in my final year of graduate school at the University of Denver. I will be graduating with my Education Specialist degree in School Psychology this spring. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Miami University. As a future school psychologist, I am passionate about supporting whole-child development and supporting the needs of all students. My main goals are to help students feel valued and cared for at school and ensure they have the tools and support they need to be successful academically, socially, and emotionally.

Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my friends and family, and cuddling with my two cats and my dog. I am excited to be a part of the Challenge community this school year!
