Advisory and Accountability
Welcome to a new year at the Challenge School We look forward to another great year of academic and personal growth for our kids.
Challenge, like other schools in Cherry Creek, has an advisory and accountability committee as a forum for communication between the administration and the community.
The primary goal of accountability is to open dialogue and improve transparency within the school. Attendance is open to all and we would welcome your participation and support.
We meet periodically through the year and discuss matters that affect our kids and the school at large. Although individual topics come up as interests or concerns arise, recurring topics include:
- the school's test results from the annual state-wide testing
- the school's Unified Improvement Plan (UIP), a living document updated annually to try and develop best practices for our kids
- staffing and budgeting
Meetings will be held four times per school year.
