Advisory and Accountability

  • Challenge School, like other schools in the Cherry Creek School District, has an Advisory and Accountability Committee.  This is a forum for communication between the administration and the community.

    Goals

The primary goal of Advisory and Accountability is to open dialogue and improve transparency within the school.  Attendance is open to all and we would welcome your participation and support!

    Meetings

We meet periodically throughout the year and discuss matters that affect our students and the school at large.  Although individual topics come up as interests or concerns arise, recurring topics include:

    • the school's test results from the annual state-wide testing
    • the school's Unified Improvement Plan (UIP), a living document updated annually to try and develop best practices for our students
    • staffing and budgeting

Meetings will be held four times per school year.
