Hello Red Hawk Ridge Families!

Dear Red Hawk Ridge Elementary Community,

Hello fantastic families!  My name is Dr. Michelle Chambers.  I am humbled and honored to serve our amazing community as your Principal.  I look forward to sharing time filled with connection, celebrating academic and social growth, and continuing to build a sense of community and belonging!  If I could communicate one thing about myself, it would be that I absolutely value education, family, and community!  Learning and teaching are my greatest passions. 

Just as I am thrilled to get to know all of you, I thought that it might be helpful if I shared a little bit about myself.  I have served as a primary and intermediate general education teacher, Gifted and Talented Specialist, Differentiation Coach, and Assistant Principal.  During the spring of 2020, I graduated with my Doctor of Education in Leadership for Educational Equity degree from University of Colorado Denver.  I love spending time with my husband, daughter, son, mother, and abuelita outside of school.  I also thoroughly enjoy working out, practicing as a Taekwondo martial artist, and riding dirt bikes.

As we venture into the school year, I look forward to finding ways to honor the rich history of the Red Hawk Ridge Elementary community while also embracing new beginnings for ourselves, our children, our school, and our community.  My vision for the school year is to ensure that all who enter the doors of our incredible school know that their voices are heard and valued.  In addition, our school community will serve as a place for all to receive the love and support needed to achieve their unique goals and dreams.  

I am dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and positive learning community that embraces a love of learning and inspires every student to SOAR at Red Hawk Ridge Elementary.  I look forward to getting to know you, your precious children, and our caring community.  Thank you, in advance, for your partnership in your children's education.
