Degrees and Certifications:
It is an honor to serve as the principal of Rolling Hills Elementary School, home of the Tigers! Our school has a twenty-five-year legacy of fostering a love of learning and helping students grow into safe, respectful, responsible members of their community.
I am joining Rolling Hills this year with 15 years of experience in elementary education. Most recently, I was the assistant principal at Meadow Point Elementary, and over the course of the past three years have also served as the assistant principal at Buffalo Trail Elementary and the assistant to the principal at Cottonwood Creek Elementary. Prior to my roles in school leadership, I was an elementary classroom teacher for twelve years, both in Cherry Creek and in Florida, where I am originally from. Go Gators! Away from school, I am an avid runner, skier, snowboarder, hiker, baker, reader, traveler, and pug mom.
My vision for Rolling Hills Elementary is to continue to foster an environment in which all students are celebrated as their authentic selves, receive all that they need to experience academic and social emotional success, develop a love of learning, and move on to middle school prepared and empowered to pursue their pathways of purpose. We can achieve this together with a focus on authentic, rigorous learning experiences for all, a dedication to social emotional learning and the wellbeing of the whole child, and strong partnerships between our school, families, and the greater community.
I am excited about all of the wonderful things the 2022-2023 school year will hold for our students, staff, families, and community. I look forward to partnering together and getting to know each of you in the days to come.
