• Choir Overview:

    6th Grade Choir is a quarter long class as part of the elective wheel  Students will learn vocal technique, basic music reading/theory skills, as well as listen to and sing music in a variety of styles. Students will also develop skills in collaboration, creativity, and confidence. Students will participate in one evening concert. Come ready to sing and have a great time!

    7th Grade Choir is a semester long elective class open to anyone who wants to sing, have a great positive experience, and become part of the FCMS Choir Family. Students will dive further into music reading/theory, continue to build their vocal/musicianship skills, and experience a wide variety of music. Students will have two evening performances as well as some additional opportunities to perform in the community. 

    8th Grade Choir (Falconaires) is a select choir. Students will continue to build on the skills they learned in 6th and 7th grade choir to have an advanced choir experience. Students will learn how to get the most out of their vocal instrument, learn advanced music, and build a great community of friends in choir. Falconaires regularly performs in the community (yes, that means field trips!) as well as 4 evening concerts over the course of the school year.
