    Alumni in Action: Dr. Lauren Minner

    Lions, and tigers, and bears, along with a kinkajou and a Savannah monitor, are among the more unusual animals Dr. Lauren Minner has treated during her career in veterinary medicine. She loves what she does. “It’s one of those professions that gives back day after day, year after year,” she said.

    Overland High School graduate Anthony Lambatos has taken his family business to new heights through what he calls "heart leadership" and "intentional culture building." Now he's sharing what he's learned through a second company designed to help other businesses "make it better every day."

    Alumni in Action: Jenny Cavnar

    Smoky Hill High School graduate Jenny Cavnar is about to make history – again. When the Oakland A's open their 2024 season, Cavnar will become the first female primary play-by-play announcer in Major League Baseball history. It's just the latest first in a career built with hard work, dedication, and a true love for the game.

    When Stephanie Murphy graduated from Smoky Hill High School, she thought she wanted to be a forensic psychologist. Instead, a volunteer opportunity helped her discover a passion for working with students in the areas of financial literacy and career exploration as the Director of Capstone programming for Junior Achievement.

    Security Specialist Joseph Rosales has spent more than a decade building rapport and relationships with students at Cherry Creek High School, the school he graduated from in 2004. "I care about these kids. I want to see them succeed," he said.
