  • Fall Musical 1776 Fall Musical - 1776

In 1960, 1776 was intended for a cast of twenty-five Caucasian males and two females.  Sixty years later, how is this show relevant to twenty-first century teenagers?  On the surface, the concept is to present 1776 in the spirit of Hamilton.  In the words of Lin Manuel Miranda, “… making the event on stage as diverse as the America we live in… and since we are a land of immigrants and ever increasingly a land of racial diversity… a show about a group of people breaking away from traditional definitions seemed an ideal place to practice what the show is actually preaching.” It is under this ideal that we present The Musical 1776 with students from all backgrounds.

The Musical 1776 contains mature content, mature themes, and strong language.  This play is not recommended for viewers under the age of 12.
