    7th Annual Cardboard Challenge

    Wednesday, October 30, 2019

    Smoky Hill High School

    4-7 p.m.

    The Cardboard Challenge is a celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it inspired by the short film, “Caine’s Arcade.” Kids are challenged to create and build using cardboard, recycled materials and their imagination. This provides our students a unique opportunity outside of the classroom to innovate, create and shine!

    One Pack, One World

    GHS 2019 Homecoming is fast approaching. Pack the Den Shirts go on sale Wednesday, September 18 in the Lower Commons. $12 with an Activities Fee, $15 w/out. Come support our GHS Volleyball and buy a shirt while supplies last, we will sell out.

    Annual Sidewalk Chalk Contest

    The 6th annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest will be on Saturday, September 21, from 12-4 pm at the Upper Main Entrance. Our theme this year is One Pack, One World. Sign up with your club or sports team or come to Activities Office to sign up individually. See you on the 21st at noon.

    Reusable Silicone Straws

    Reusable silicone straws will go on sale for $1 in the lower commons during all lunches in preparation for next week’s One Pack, One World Homecoming week. Or, even better, buy a Homecoming week package, going on sale Wednesday 9/18 and get a free straw as well as your Pack the Den t-shirt, one Mr. Grandview ticket, and one movie night ticket all for $18.

    One Pack, One World Homecoming Dance

    Are you going to The Breath of Fresh Air Homecoming Dance? In order for you to buy a dance ticket, all Fees must be paid prior to purchasing a ticket. Please see the bookkeeper down in the counseling hallway to pay your fees. Dance Tickets go on sale Monday, September 23, in the ticket booth during all lunches. $20 with an Activities Fee $25 without.

    Guest Registration:

    Guest Registration forms to bring an outside guest to the dance are currently available in the Activities Office and on the GHS Website. Forms are due by Friday, Sept. 20. No form, no guest.

  • Parking Sign Students, Do you need a Parking Pass?

    Register your vehicle using this google doc.

    Print the following Parking Pass Application.

    Fill out the parking pass application and sign it (your parent/guardian must also sign).  Bring the parking pass application along with a receipt of payment from the bookkeeper, and copies of your driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance to the security office.
