    In April of 2022, Superintendent Christopher Smith worked with district leadership to revise the 2022-2023 school year calendar to end the fall semester on December 22, 2022.

  • Power Scholars Academy

    The Power Scholars Academy will be returning again this summer! This free program offers extra reading and math instruction at the kindergarten – 4th grade levels (incoming 1st – 5th grade students) during the month of June. CCSD has partnered with the YMCA to offer afternoon or morning sessions on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday taught by CCSD teachers within CCSD elementary school sites.

  • Vaccines for Children as young as 6 months

    The FDA has authorized COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as 6 months old. Vaccines for children under 5 years of age will be available in Colorado starting Wednesday, June 22.

    CCSD summer programs

    Register your child now for these exciting and educational summer programs! The Power Scholars program is free to students entering grades 1-5 in the fall and offers a fun and engaging experience that helps them increase math and literacy skills. Extended Child Services (ECS) summer camps provide quality day care that is fun, affordable and flexible. If your child is interested in sports or the arts, check out the CCSD summer sports and activities camps! CCSD also offers in-person and online summer school options.
