In accordance with C.R.S. 22-44-110 (4), the Cherry Creek Schools Board of Education has adopted a budget for the 2019/20 school year by June 30, 2019.
2019-20 MILL LEVY
In December 2019, Cherry Creek Schools certified the local property tax levy in accordance with the School Finance Act. The property tax levy provides annual school funding as authorized by State statutes and local elections.
The Board Resolution #19.12.4 for approval of the mill levy specifies that the local base mill levy has been certified in compliance with TABOR limits and in accordance with Senate Bill 07-199 (C.R.S. 22-54-106).
The property tax levy is collected by the Arapahoe County Treasurer based on certification of assessed value provided by the Arapahoe County Assessor for properties within the boundaries of the Cherry Creek School District.

The revised Financial Plan and Budget is for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. The fiscal year 2010-2011 Financial Plan and Budget has been adopted by the Board of Education of Cherry Creek School District #5 at their regular meeting held on June 14, 2010. The Financial Plan and Budget is for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011. The budget is completed in accordance with Board of Education policies and State requirements.

The Financial Plan and Budget has been prepared based on current funding under the School Finance Act, and includes a comprehensive financial plan for the District as well as budgets for individual schools and support services departments.

JUNE 2010 UPDATE
COST AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLAN
As part of the budget process for FY2010-11, the District held Budget Town Hall meetings in April 2010 at four school sites to review a Cost and Resource Management Plan developed for the purposes of a budget solution to deal with State funding reductions under HB10-1369 and to achieve a balanced budget.
The updated Cost and Resource Management Plan includes expenditure budget reductions of $11.1 Million which have been adjusted to reflect input received at Budget Town Hall meetings. The updated figures have been incorporated in the 2010-11 Budget presented at the June 14, 2010 regular meeting of the Board of Education.
