Healthier students learn better.

Student Health Services supports students’ physical well-being during the school day and helps remove health-related barriers to learning. Every school in the Cherry Creek School District has a health clinic staffed by a trained health team, including at least one registered school nurse.

When to keep your child home

Is your student too sick for school?

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to follow the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Guidance: How Sick is Too Sick? / (¿Qué tan enfermo es demasiado enfermo?)

Common symptoms of illness in students including fever, diarrhea, and vomiting should be fully resolved for 24 hours (without the use of medication) before a student should return to school.
