CCSD WELLFEST is a FREE chance for high school students to engage in a variety of wellness activities, connect with resources, and generally spend a day focused on self-care. Haven't registered?? Don't worry, you can signup at the door. Check out the bus schedule for a free lift!

Schedule:
10-10:45am Logo Ligi African Drumming kickoff session
11am-2pm workshops and resource fair with lunch
(Students may attend all or part of the day - transportation available via advanced registration)
📍Location is Smoky Hill High School, with free transportation available from neighborhood schools.
🎟️ Registration is free, but required to help us plan for supplies, activities, and event access.
Let us know you’re coming—for your first choice in activities! Transportation will be provided from local schools throughout the day.

Activities
🥁 Logo Ligi-African Drumming🛢 Using the language of drum and dance, Logo Ligi creates new avenues of communication, bringing a profound cross-cultural experience. The name of the group comes from the Ghanaian language of Ga, and translates as ‘to tickle, play or excite’ – and their performances do just that. Logo Ligi creates life-giving energy that permeates audience members and participants to the core of their being. By sharing the contagious rhythms, celebratory songs, and exhilarating dances of West Africa, Logo Ligi is sure to inspire and invigorate all in the space.
🎼 Music and chill space for just unwinding
✍ Poetry slam workshops with @PanamaSoweto
🎭🎬 Improv Theater for self-expression and connection by Mirror Image Arts
🎨 Creative art stations and relaxing spaces
🎼 Sound Bath (a meditation of relaxation, with a host providing the music for reflection) with Sound Rise Alchemy
🧘♀️ Yoga for everybody- beginners, athletes, adaptive, neurodivergent, all bodies are welcome!
🍽 Cooking class - Take your tacos to the next level learn knife skills while making fresh mango salsa and a healthy, flavorful meal. Download and sign the permission form is selecting this.
🌈 Crocheting for community event and other crafts
🎮 Gaming truck, and collective fun
🐾 Therapy dog cuddles! Both Arapahoe Sheriff of HCA HealthONE Rocky Mountain Children’s therapy dogs therapy dogs will join us for part of the day!
🎉 Games (9 in the air, Pickleball), giveaways, and parents are welcome to attend the resource fair of community partners!
