Academics Information
Find out more about what your kindergartener will learn this year in math, science, social studies, literacy and more! Daily we will have integrated lessons where literature, informational texts, and cross-curricular activities are utilized. Students will also be part of small reading groups and will participate in literacy centers. Polton Elementary. I have had the pleasure to teach 3rd, 2nd 1st and now kindergarten. I enjoy spending my time with friends and family, traveling and all things Colorado. I am so very excited and honored to be working with your child this year
Additional Information
Homework:
- Home Reading 10 minutes each day
- Math homework will be assigned throughout the month.
- All other homework will be assigned monthly.
Friday Folder Envelope
Please sign and return the empty Friday Folder Envelope each Monday.
Arrival/Dismissal Time
Please help your student arrive at school on time each day. Full day kindergarten time is 8-2:45.

Snack
Students are encouraged to bring water and one nutritious snack.
Lunch
Kindergarteners will be eating lunch at school. Please either pack them a lunch or sign them up for school lunch. Also, fill out free/reduced lunch forms for discounts throughout the school and beyond.
