    2017-2018 School Year

    November 2017 — BFH Backpacks For The Homeless

    This year we donated 310 backpacks!

    ​144 Blankets, 487 Socks, 98 Gloves, 219 Hand Warmers, 299 Combs, 409 Fruit Cups, 645 Pudding Cups, 679 Granola Bars, 696 Containers of Peanut butter, 128 Tuna Pouches, 156 Cans of Vienna Sausages, 418 Beef Jerky Sticks, 180 Chef Boyardee Cans, 220 Cans of Soup, and 313 Gatorade Bottles.


    2016-2017 School Year

    ​​Here are some of the ways Black Forest Hills is giving back this school year! 

    For our grade level service projects the grades sponsoring the project provided the main items, each of the other grades supported the project with additional items.

    ​October — Backpacks for the Homeless

    • 200 hats and 200+ backpacks were made for the homeless​

    November — Fish Pantry of Commerce City​ ​

    • ​​Sponsored by Black Forest Hills Elementary in conjunctions with our Turkey Trot​
    • We delivered our donated food on Nov. 11th and 18th

    December 1st — 9th — Toy Drive for Denver Children's Home

    • ​​Sponsored by 1st and 4th Grades
    • Toys will be delivered on Dec. 11th​​​
    • 600+ Toys were donated by BFH for this event!

    February 25th ​— Spaghetti Dinner $2,489.00 Raised for our two organizations.

    March 13th-26nd — Wish List Drive
