    We are opening our fields through May 31, 2021. This is in line with our regular programming.

    The State of Colorado has moved to Level Yellow on the COVID Dial. Level Yellow - Concern: Groups of up to 25 players, excluding coaches or referees/umpires (or other staff required for player safety) at a time per court or per field. 

    Please be aware that some of our fields will be closed for maintenance throughout the spring and summer months. Fields that will be affected are 

    Elementary: Altitude, Aspen Crossing, Black Forest (summer closure), Canyon Creek, Pine Ridge.

    Middle school: Falcon Creek and Infinity. 

    Our Ground department will continue to monitor field conditions and may determine a need to close others. We will communicate that information as soon as we have any updates.  Colorado has fallen short of the normal moisture for the year and if a drought is declared, the district will need to revisit the use of our fields.

    We will open our high school turf fields for Sunday-only rentals. The fields that are currently available are located at Eaglecrest, Grandview, Overland, and Smoky Hill. Coming soon are Cherry Creek and Cherokee Trail.

    We will open our field calendars for summer rentals on March 15th.   


    At this time indoor spaces, including pools remain on pause for spring and summer rentals. We will communicate any changes as soon as we are able.  

    We know this has been a very challenging time for you and your organization. We are excited to have kids returning to outdoor play!

    The Cherry Creek School District Leadership team has given their authorization to phase in the re-opening of Facility Rentals as follows:

    Phase I

    Start Date:  June 29, 2020* (Updated 8/6/2020)

    Parking Lots, Outdoor Fields/Tennis Courts, Stadiums for Youth Organizations K-12

    • External community requesters must adhere to the guidelines established by Governor Polis,, and the CDC
    • No access to any indoor facility at any time.
    • Rentable Elementary and Middle Schools except for FRM, IMS, LMS, TMS.
    • You may submit new requests for usage from 6/29/2020 through 9/30/2020 for the time being.
    • Rental space to be cleared of all debris by the client or an additional cleaning fee will be assessed.
    • Rentals are to begin and end on time. This will be strictly enforced.
    • 1-hour gap between rentals.
    • Stadium usage will require a District Stadium Manager.
    • Stadium rentals will also incur a $15 COVID-19 Cleaning Fee Per Room for each restroom.
    • At any given time, Facility Rentals could be canceled due to outbreaks or failure to follow CCSD rental agreement requirements and guidelines.


    Phase II

    Start Date:  July 6, 2020*  (Updated 8/31/2020)

    Churches already established within CCSD

    All clients must adhere to the guidelines established by Governor Polis  and the CDC

    • Rental space limited to larger areas only: Cafeteria, Gym, and Auditorium. NO classroom rentals. Only churches will be considered at this time. No exceptions. 
    • Masks must be worn by everyone 10 y.o. and older.  Mask must be on prior entering the building and be worn the entire time in the facility.
    • You may submit new requests for usage from September 1st through November 1st, for the time being.
    • Adjacent restrooms only.
    • Single access entry to the facility. The client must provide a door monitor to ensure compliance.
    • Clients to provide their own hand sanitizer.
    • In addition to having a Building Engineer for the half-hour prior and the half-hour after the event, clients renting High School facilities will be charged one extra hour for disinfecting the affected areas. Clients renting Elementary and Middle Schools will be charged an extra 45 minutes for disinfecting the affected areas.
    • A $15 COVID-19 Cleaning Fee Per Room.
    • At any given time, Facility Rentals could be canceled due to outbreaks or failure to follow CCSD rental agreement requirements and guidelines.

    Mission Statement

    The Office of Facility Rental provides and facilitates the opportunity for members of our community to utilize District facilities for the benefit of our students and our community. Thank you for your support of Cherry Creek Schools!

    New Requester Facility Rental Process (under certain terms and conditions):

    • You will need to access our online scheduling system Facilities Scheduler
    • Click on Become a Requester if you are not already an approved requester and complete the short application.  It can take up to two weeks to become an approved requester.  You will receive an email once your application has been fully processed.  You will not be able to sign in, access facility calendars, or submit a request until you receive the email stating that your application has been approved.
    • You may download directions for submitting an online request or view a Video Tutorial. Please click on the Documents section to access directions.
    • Approval of requests is not determined on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting a request for usage does not guarantee that your request will be approved, either partially or fully.
    • Please note that you must be approved as a requester before you can log into the system to submit an online request.
    • This office and the schools require a two-week turnaround time for processing requests. Our goal is to complete requests in a two-week (business days) processing period. During high volume times of the year, i.e. beginning of the school year, semester, and summer session, we will process requests based on the event date. Requests submitted less than two weeks before the requested start date may not be approved. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
    • When requesting space, please request a location that is age-appropriate to your activity. It is this office's practice to approve groups to age-appropriate venues - elementary school-aged programs scheduled in elementary schools, middle school-aged programs scheduled in middle schools, etc. - in order to best accommodate the needs of our community.
    • Please submit a new request for each facility/field you would like to request. 
    • All reservations will require a $35 non-refundable processing fee. 
    • The renter must supply the Office of Facility Rental with a Certificate of Insurance (COI), reflecting a minimum of $1 million in general commercial liability coverage and listing Cherry Creek School District as an additional insured. Requests will not be approved without a current certificate of insurance on file with this office.
    • Fees for your rental may apply. Please see Policy KF-R: Community Use of School Facilities for more information.
    • Fees for custodial, security, theater manager, and/or stadium manager coverage may apply. Please contact the Office of Facility Rental for questions regarding personnel coverage.
    • A $15 COVID-19 Cleaning Fee Per Room will be applied for all rentals using building spaces (this includes restrooms at stadiums). 
    • Your request is approved only when you have received a permit (and invoice, if applicable) via email from the Office of Facility Rental and you return the permit with an electronic signature.
    • The Office of Facility Rentals accepts checks, cash, or credit/debit cards for invoice payments.
    • In case of an emergency, or if you are unable to access the school, please call District Dispatch at 720-554-4513. Please make sure you have your permit on hand as proof of rental.


    Staff Members: Please note that the Facilities Scheduler is not linked to your Active Directory account. You must become a requester first!

    After Hours Access

    If you cannot access your approved facility, or if you are experiencing difficulties during your rental, please call 720-554-4513.

    If you require assistance, please follow this protocol:

    • State that you are calling regarding Cherry Creek School District;
    • Provide your name and your referenced building/facility;
    • Relate the reason for which you need to contact District personnel; and
    • Leave a contact phone number at which the dispatch may return your call.
    • Someone from CCSD will contact you within 15 minutes. If you are not contacted, call back and make your request again.

    If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 911. 

    Inclement Weather

    When schools are closed,

    • All rental activities scheduled in District facilities are canceled.
    • In-District sports events and team practices are postponed.
    • You may call the Weather Delay and Closure line at 720-554-4701, or see the CCSD School Closure and Storm Information page for more information.
    • If you cancel an event due to inclement weather outside of Facility Rentals office hours, please contact the dispatch line at 720-554-4513.  This is required so that appropriate personnel are notified.
