In December 2009, Cherry Creek Schools certified the local property tax levy, in accordance with the School Finance Act. The property tax levy provides annual school funding as authorized by State statutes and local elections.

The property tax levy is collected by the Arapahoe County Treasurer, based on certifications of assessed value provided by the Arapahoe County Assessor, for properties within the boundaries of the Cherry Creek School District.
