• District P.A.S.S.

    (Partnerships for Academically Successful Students)

    ​​The District P.A.S.S. (Partnerships for Academically Successful Students) is comprised of parents, Cherry Creek teachers and administrators, and community members. P.A.S.S. supports the district's goal of Inclusive Excellence and is a critical component of systemic equity transformation. P.A.S.S. at the district level, is led by the Executive Director of Inclusive Excellence and supported by the P.A.S.S. Steering Committee, and serves the purpose of engaging community members in meaningful and effective partnerships that lead to positive outcomes for all students, but more specifically, students of color. P.A.S.S. is a structure that fosters the intentional building of relationships between the school and the parent communities in an effort to create an inclusive learning environment for all students. P.A.S.S. also gives parents and guardians of students of color voice and direct access to administration.

    For the 2020-2021 school year, all District P.A.S.S. meetings will be held virtually. For upcoming District P.A.S.S. dates and meeting information email the Office of Inclusive Excellence: inclusiveexcellence@cherrycreekschools.org to be added to the email distribution list. 


    2019 - 2020 District P.A.S.S. Goals

    • To create opportunities to hear students' voice/perspective/narratives as they relate to their experiences in CCSD
    • To strengthen communication channels with CCSD parents
    • To increase the presence and engagement of community members of color throughout CCSD to create new, positive and accurate narratives for students and staff about people of color. 
    • To increase awareness and knowledge of programming options (i.e. GT, AP, IB, Honors, AVID, etc.), and ways of accessing these options in our schools and the supports needed for students of color to be successful within these programs.
