Scott Schleich has over 20 years in elementary education. He started his career teaching third grade in Beloit, Wisconsin, and then moved to Colorado in 2000. He taught third grade at Antelope Ridge in the Cherry Creek School District before becoming the assistant principal at Holly Hills/Holly Ridge Elementary in 2002. In 2004, Scott became the principal of Homestead Elementary on the far southwest side of the district. After seven years at Homestead, he moved to Aspen Crossing Elementary and served as principal there for six years. Scott is married to his wife Deb and they have two boys, Garrett and Gavin, who both attended Fox Ridge Middle School and one is now a senior at Cherokee Trail High School and the other is in his sophomore year at Colorado State University. And let’s not forget Marty, their golden retriever.
It has been Mr. Schleich’s dream to open a brand new school. He is very excited to create an amazing environment where students love to come to school every day, eager to see what new and amazing learning experiences wait for them! He is now in his fourth year as the principal of Altitude Elementary School. Scott believes when you have great teachers, great students and great parents…great things will happen for our children!
