Mrs. Kelly Park

  • At Dry Creek, students are presented with rigorous academic experiences within a collaborative, open-concept environment. Our academic programming is paired with social-emotional learning, where students learn skills such as empathy, emotional regulation, collaboration, and problem-solving. Students are pushed to think critically, explore multiple perspectives, and validate information to maneuver the world in which we live. It is the combination of academic subjects, social-emotional learning, and inquiry that ensures a quality learning experience for all students at Dry Creek.

We value blazing a new TRAIL through, Teamwork, Respect, Acting Safely, Integrity, and Leadership. These values establish a positive culture of learning for all students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Dry Creek’s supportive community of educators, parents, and families makes it a positive and inclusive place for students to learn, grow, and thrive as learners and as people. Our staff strives to create and maintain strong community partnerships that prioritize students’ best interests.

I am grateful for this opportunity to partner with you and your families to support your children’s learning, make connections, and make a positive impact in the world.  Students bring their natural curiosity to school and we want to empower them to stay curious and love learning!

We all come with stories to share and I look forward to listening to our community members, staff, and students about all the ways that make Dry Creek a great place to grow and learn.  I am passionate about learning from our staff and want to collaborate with all stakeholders to make our visions a reality.

I am from Indiana originally and I have worked in the Cherry Creek School District for over eighteen years.  I went to Indiana University for my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and completed my Masters degrees at Regis University in Teaching the Linguistically Diverse and Educational Leadership.

My family keeps me grounded and humble as I work for our school community. My husband Paul and I have two children, an eight year old and a twenty month old.  I understand the importance of communication as a parent and I want you to know that my doors are always open and I welcome opportunities to dialogue and come together to support our students.

As we look onto this next school year, I know that the sky's the limit to what we can accomplish together!
