    Dear Dry Creek Community,

I am very excited to start new school year and see our Dry Creek Explorers having fun and learning together!  I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students. I look forward to working with such a dedicated staff to help provide the best educational environment for students.

My experience has shown me that it takes a team to help all students reach their maximum potential. The rigorous curriculum we offer is directly aligned to the Colorado Academic Standards.  To help each child achieve his or her full potential, our school provides both enrichment and targeted support for students. Student success does not happen by itself.  It is the result of the collaboration between students, staff, and families.  The team at Dry Creek emphasizes collaboration so that students receive the best instruction possible.  We want to invite all of you to be a part of our school community.  We welcome and encourage parent volunteers and hope that you will take advantage of the many opportunities available to you.  These opportunities include working in classrooms, chaperoning field trips, participating in our Partnerships for Academically Successful Students committee (P.A.S.S.), or our School Accountability Committee (S.A.C.), attending or volunteering at PTCO events, and more.

We thank you for entrusting your children to us every day!  We consider it a great privilege to work with your children and look forward to fostering a challenging, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. I am eager to get to know all of you and participate in the educational process together.

Again, I’m delighted and honored to join the Dry Creek family for what know will be a fantastic school year.  Please don’t ever hesitate to contact me with your concerns, questions, or to share any good news about your child.  Together we will make it a year filled with learning, laughter, and memorable experiences!

    Warmly,

    Roberta Ballard
