Degrees and Certifications:
Dry Creek Parents and Community,
Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! Thank you for your continual flexibility and partnership as we step into a school year that will be different than anything we have experienced before. This year we will have many of our Dry Creek students learning online and others learning in-person to begin the year. For those families who have opted to return to school in-person, please download and read the “Parent Information Packet” linked below.
The purpose of the information packet is to provide specific plans, procedures, and practices for the in-person cohort learning model. The contents of this plan are derived from the Cherry Creek Schools Elementary Plan for the 2020-21 School Year and meet guidance measures from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Tri-County Health Department. Plans are subject to change based on state, district, and Health Department guidance. In order to help you and your family prepare for what school will present, please read this document in its entirety.
I also would recommend reading the Frequently Asked Questions on the Cherry Creek Schools website, as the contents of this document will only detail the procedures and precautions taken by Dry Creek staff and students. The FAQ’s can be found at https://www.cherrycreekschools.org/Page/12524 and provide answers to questions asked by parents and community members throughout the summer and cover a wide range of topics.
Again, thank you for your flexibility and patience as we reinvent in-person learning amidst a pandemic. Please contact the main office at (720) 554-3300 with any questions.
Mr. Kevin Watanabe
