Welcome to Fox Hollow Elementary School where our mission, “Together, we shape leaders and learners” supports our commitment to providing a safe and trusting environment, achieving rigorous academic standards, welcoming accountability, valuing diversity, practicing compassion, and fueling a sense of curiosity, wonder & joy in every student. As we excitedly embark on a new adventure in the 2020-2021 and strive to find joy in our journey each day this school year, we will continue to maintain the same high expectations of success for all children.   

The Fox Hollow student body is composed of a diverse group of learners.  Our school serves as the elementary site for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program for Cherry Creek School District.  Our classrooms are equipped with a LightSpeed amplification sound system which enables students to hear the classroom teacher from anywhere within the room.  This enhances student engagement for all students.  Additionally, 12% of our student body are English Language Learners and represent 18 different languages.  The varied cultural backgrounds and experiences of our students and families makes our community beautiful and strong.

In an effort to help students identify and develop their unique talents and gifts, we provide art, music, PE, and STEM classes during the school day.  Our enrichment blocks of time support the continuum of learning needs to meet students where they are and push them to where they need to go next.  Additionally, we offer a variety of after school activities throughout the year, such as choir, intramurals, and Student Council.  We also host other after school programs such as band, strings, Spanish, art, and theatre. Families may also access our before and after school daycare, through Discovery Club, our extended childcare program. 

My name is Ashley Gray, and it is my honor and privilege to serve as the principal at Fox Hollow Elementary.  We are surrounded and embraced by an active and supportive community.  Our exceptional educators are dedicated and highly qualified, with 85% of our teachers holding advanced degrees.  We believe in academic excellence for all children and achieve this by teaching a rigorous curriculum with clearly defined learning expectations for all students.  Our teachers understand students learn in a variety of ways and differentiate teaching to meet each student’s unique needs.  We are a community of learners where each individual is valued and uplifted for the unique and varied gifts they bring.

Our goal is to develop lifelong learners and to make each day special for every student at Fox Hollow. We are excited to welcome you to the Fox Hollow family where leaders are growing each and every day.
