Welcome to Rolling Hills Elementary, home of the Tigers! Our school opened in August of 1996, and it was the 32nd elementary for the Cherry Creek School District, which now has more than 40 elementary schools. We serve the students in the following neighborhoods; Tuscany, Greenfield, and Sienna. Rolling Hills is honored to inspire our amazing student population to think, to learn, to achieve and to care.

We pride ourselves in being a comprehensive neighborhood school.  We offer many programs that support student learning and extra-curricular activities.   These activities include; chess, Student Council, intramurals, music club, science club, and Girls on the Run, to name a few.  We are fortunate to offer all students in our school, music, art, physical education, STEM and Assets through our integrated arts program.  Through our Assets program, students learn character building, bully-proofing, and continued learning of our PBIS program.  We embrace the PBIS model that supports positive behavior and interventions.  As Tigers, we have clear expectations for behaviors as being Safe, Respectful and Responsible in all areas of the school.

We provide advanced academic services for students that are identified on an Advanced Learning Plan.  Students in grades 2nd-5th are cluster-grouped using the model created by Susan Winebrenner.  Students identified on Individualized Educational Plans are also served by a collaborative special education team. Our main goal is to meet your child's needs both educationally and social-emotionally.  We do this through differentiation and a whole-child approach. Plus, we are the proud winner of the John Irwin Award for academic excellence for the past seven years.

As the principal of Rolling Hills, I am very proud to serve this great community.  We are very fortunate to have strong community support.  There are many ways for parents and guardians to get involved through our PTCO, School Accountability Community and our Partnerships for Diversityorganizations.   Our dedicated teachers are highly qualified, with 74% of our teachers holding a Master's Degree or higher.  We believe in academic excellence for all children and achieve this by teaching a rigorous curriculum with clearly defined learning expectations for all students.

Our goal is for your child to develop a love of learning, every day, and to come to school in a safe and welcoming environment.
