Degrees and Certifications:
Dear Timberline Family,
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of Timberline Elementary School. I am elated to join a team of highly qualified and dedicated teachers, staff, students, and parents. The dedication to excellence here at Timberline is very evident and one that I am honored to have the opportunity to join.
One of the most important aspects of my work here at Timberline is establishing strong relationships with students, teachers, and families. You will find me in the hallways, classrooms, and on the playground getting to know your child(ren). My passion has been and always will be educating students. With that in mind, you can expect that I will work diligently with teachers to make sure our students are exposed to curriculum and instruction that is both engaging and challenging.
Professionally, I have spent the last 23 years educating students from birth to fifth grade. During my years in education, I have been a classroom teacher, support intervention staff, professional development trainer, and an assistant principal. I have been in the Cherry Creek School District for the past seven years. I am excited to bring my skills as an educational leader to Timberline as we partner together to ensure the success of our students.
I am a Colorado native and love that my own children have the opportunity to enjoy the same beautiful mountains and blue sky that I grew up with. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family. My husband, Stephen, is a 5th grade teacher at Mountain Vista Elementary. Our children, Matthew and Sydney, are students at Cherokee Trail High School. Princeton our corgi provides us with lots of love and entertainment. We love to travel (especially cruising), playing family games, singing, and spending time with extended family.
Please know that my door is always open, and I am excited about meeting you. I'm proud to call myself a Timberline Timberwolf and look forward to us working with you!
