Fifth Grade

We look upon this year as one of growth and preparation.  Our goals include strengthening both academic and social skills in order to face the challenge of middle school.  Fifth grade is a great time to practice the skills needed to be an independent and responsible student…and to make mistakes.  We believe that the lessons learned through making mistakes and fixing them are powerful ones.  The hustle and bustle of middle school can be even more challenging if the lessons of independence and responsibility have not been learned and practiced.
