During the 2024-2025 school year, Cherry Creek School District will be partnering with STEMblazers and Girls Who Code to offer an after-school club at all 12 middle schools approximately 2-3 times a month. STEMBlazers inspires girls to visualize themselves in science, technology, engineering and math professions.

The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school's commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship and helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders in their school, community, and beyond.NJHS Application Scoring
All applications are scored blind by a committee of 5 faculty members. Then the average score for each area is added together to create the application score. Both teacher and community recommendations have a 4 point rubric for the NJHS pillars which total 8 points. 7th graders do get priority admission and receive 3 additional points.

There are 55 positions in NJHS at Falcon Creek . Returning members who maintain the 3.7 GPA are able to continue in NJHS without reapplying. 2023-2024 NJHS has 25 returning members. Over 60 students applied for the 30 open spots in NJHS this year.
