Parents and family members recently gathered in the ILC at Heritage Elementary to celebrate the winter season with their students at a special concert, with a little help from Mountain Sound Music Therapy. The program was brought to life by special education teachers Nicole Lee and Nicole Johnson.

West Middle School students write and perform original play
Eighth-grade students Lucy Cowan and Emerson Terry can add “writer and director” to their resumes with the recent production of “The Thief of Time” at West Middle School. The play was an original creation by Cowan and Terry, with the help of their theater teacher, Jennifer Brickley.

“It’s important for me and the teachers and staff here to know what it’s like to be a student at Creekside,” said Principal Kelly Sommerfeld during the 5th Grade Leadership Lunch on Nov. 29. “We want to know what you’re experiencing here… I want you to use your voice to help us make Creekside the best school it can be.”
