Cherry Creek High School powers up during Power Week

Caught up in the "power of play," Cherry Creek High School students and staff powered up, powered on, and powered through the school’s 8th annual Power Week, held Feb. 13-17, to raise funds for Bags of Fun – the Gabby Krause Foundation.

For the first time, students in aviation, automotive, and construction pathways at the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) showcased their skills as part of a SkillsUSA Competition. The students had to work on their own and were judged by industry leading professionals.

Mountain Vista’s SOUPer Bowl helps children and families in need

Students at Mountain Vista Elementary School are filling lives with hope thanks to their annual “SOUPer Bowl” food donation drive. The final donation count was 25,761 food items, which ended up being 7,353 pounds! The winning class was Mr. Alonzo’s third grade class who brought in 4,946 items on their own.
