Security Specialist Joseph Rosales has spent more than a decade building rapport and relationships with students at Cherry Creek High School, the school he graduated from in 2004. "I care about these kids. I want to see them succeed," he said.

CCSD Athletics: Highlights from the week of Feb. 12, 2024
Three CCSD wrestlers are state champs, while three others earn runner-up honors at Colorado State Wrestling Championships. Girls and boys basketball teams are seeded for state playoffs, and GHS Girls Basketball Head Coach Josh Ulitzky gets win 400. Finally, the CCHS hockey team is the 3-seed and gets a first round bye as the state playoffs begin.

Innovation Excellence: Adam Zaouague's impactful journey at Reata
An Overland High School and Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) alum is gaining significant recognition for innovation at Reata Engineering & Machine Works. Adam Zaouague set out to improve whatever he was tasked to do. At the end of Zaouague’s summer internship, he created a presentation on how the company could use robots to make their production run more efficiently.

On January 27, incredibly talented elementary and middle school students from across the district competed in CCSD’s annual Spelling Bee competition. Seeing students showcase their quick thinking and comprehensive knowledge was an exciting and intense day. Students and families were entirely absorbed by the exceptional competition and talent showcased by the students.
