CBS4: Eaglecrest SRO helps to bridge gap between law enforcement and the Latino community
Five deputies recently launched the Arapahoe County Latino Peace Officers Association, one of three in the state. The organization was formed to represent its members, ensure equal and fair treatment for all police officers. These deputies will mentor kids, help them make positive choices, and point them toward careers in public safety.

Second grade teacher Emily Reese from Buffalo Trail Elementary School spent two weeks in Kenya supporting educators and students at Cornerstone Preparatory Academy. She provided professional development for teachers, shared creative teaching tools, and helped implement engaging lessons for students. The experience not only enriched the Kenyan classrooms but also reignited Reese's passion for teaching.
